Thanks Lad, great stuff as always.

Can you please elaborate a little on Darcy Cameron's skills? I assume it was a positive reference.

Thank you Mr Stui.
Cameron has some solid skills- is good below his knees and a competent mark- certainly is mobile- not Darcy Moore mobile, but covers the ground well.
He was in the match sim for a fair bit then went and did some running of laps- he is a fit looking young man.
More advanced than Lynch at this stage.

Thank you, something to look forward to then.

I hope the body is all good and you'll be able to make your way in to training regularly and provide many more reports like this. Much appreciated.

Mr Pyrenees Pie
Mihocek trained as Mihocek plays- he was super-efficient in all that he did and looks to have come back in shape as have many of the others.

Thank you WL for the heads up on Mihocek. I admire him greatly for valuable service he's given us during those times we were desperate for tall forwards and the laconic way he goes about it.

Brilliant report as always Lad.

Stay safe in the fire season (seems to get earlier and worse each year)

TL, your work, love I do.

And thanks for the new word. I'm off to the tonsorialist later this week for a trim.

Thanks Warby Lad for all the info. Lap it up here in Hong Kong. Lived many years in Cockatoo, taught in Lilydale and in 1983 I learnt first hand about the men ande women in the RFB - saved our house. Keep up the great work.

Lad, I have missed you. Your report is inspiring and informative. I also compliment you on your style. Our club should make use of your talents; whether in the Magazine or the Web Page.

I look forward to reading your future reports.

Good afternoon, '90 Nice'
I can report the following on the training form of each of the players listed:

Reid- has shed some kilograms and moved very well his ability to switch play with piercing kicks off half-back was notable yesterday.

Varcoe- played exclusively off half back flank as well was frequently seen running through the middle at pace to deliver the ball forward- apart from one howler was very good.

Josh Thomas- like Mihocek, was deft in tight and a good linkman- appeared to play high half-forward and then run very hard to be at the drop of the ball in marking contests.

Jack Madgen- gives 100% effort 100% of the time- strong as a bull but will need to acquire better foot skills at the level. Kicking is simply unreliable at present.

Max Lynch- is a keeper for mine- works diligently and creates options with his leads. Only problem for him is that Cox/Cameron are ahead of him in the pecking order behind Grundy. If Will Kelly continues to progress as a marking option forward of centre its hard to see where Lynch fits in the best 22.

Beams- well, I think football at the top level is, and must, be a lower priority than his return to health.

I hope that clarifies things somewhat...

You have well and truly excelled yourself Laddy.

That report was pure poetry, for which I and I am sure, all my fellow Nicksters, are incredibly grateful. Cool

Thank you Mr Harrysz.

I am glad my reports bring some measure of joy, inspiration and information to the Nicksters.
Im afraid that the club already has some very talented writers who put this Lad into the shade- they do a great job.

Great Report WL

I attended and it was good to see the report which confirmed what I thought I witnessed on the day. Although I arrived about 10.25.

Will Kelly impressed playing forward,
Reid was also prominent and Sier looked very fit with a good body shape

It was good to see Grundy fully involved and he had Lynch as his constant opponent. Grundy was the clear winner but Lynch appeared to push Big Brody.

Whilst it was drizzly and a bit bleak but Big Coxy did not provide a presence (and I am a fan).

It was good to see so many training albeit Degoey was not involved in match sim, neither was Phillips, WHE, the newcomer Cameron and Daicos.

It was good to see Sier, Wills Reid all training which over the years they have not been and been in the "rehab group"

I noticed that Billy E, Langdon, Broomie did not make an appearance.

Roughie, Crisp, Maynard, Howe, Sidey and the rolls Royce Pendles were very good as you would expect

Warburton Lad - great post re training. I really miss my Collingwood footy during this off season. The occasional media reports don’t really fill the gap. Your report fills that big gap. Love all your detail. Many thanks.
