It was leg byes, I’m afraid. He’s still on 0.
On the upside, he’s survived 8 balls. |

Yes, I think that there is a real chance that Cummins will prove over his entire career to have been the best fast bowler Australia has produced. I don’t say that lightly because I thought Lillee and McGrath were untouchable - but Cummins just keeps knocking over good players at a rapid rate. He finished with 4 of the NZ top 5. That was no cheap 5-fer. |

And there’s the Australian 50 opening stand. Warner has 34 of them. Burns has 7. Extras have 9. |

1/83 as Marnus brings up the 400 lead with a 3.
Highest successful Test 4th innings run chase at the ‘G is 332, apparently. |

Big call, while his average is comparable to DK's, Lillee took 5fa 23 times and against arguably better opposition batsmen. His 8/29 off 7 overs against a World XI, which included the wickets of; Sobers, Lloyd, Kahnai and Gavaskar, was said to be the fastest bowling Sobers had ever faced. he backed that up with 4/63 to finish with 12/92 and steer Australia to an innings victory. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Australia is 1/100. Marnus is 19*. Burns is 32*. That takes the lead to 419. The highest successful 4th innings run chase by any team in any country is 418. |
