I don't think it ever will be either, its too hard now, the deees, lions and dawks could not do it, and neither will the tigers.Actually, we stopped em from getting four in a row, by beating then in that PF, they r now only on one in a row going for two, had we not beaten em, theyd by on three now, so at least we stuffed them up on that one ! My bro in law, a one eyed tiger, laments the fact they did not beat us in the GF last yr, still moaning bout it, really wanted to beat us in the GF, I just told him, our recent record v the tigers is 2-1 so suffer in his jocks.!

Since my first recollection of going to finals in 1951 there have only been three in a row on three occasions

1955—-1956—1957. And we stopped Demons in 1958

2001—-2002——2003 The Brisbane Lions stopped by Port Power

Last was 2013—2014—2015. Hawks but they never made 2016 GF

Prior to my start up going back think both Demons and Blues did hat tricks

Appears Blues did not but Collingwood had a chance to do a fiver

After winning consecutive flags in 1935 and 1936 they were runners up 1937 ,1938 and 1939

What about the pussycats... premiers in 2007, 2009 and 2011. Minor premiers and runners up in 2008 after going 21-1. Stopped in the 2010 PF by the mighty Magpies. Finals bunnies ever since 2011

It amazes me when Pies fans boast about our finals record.

When in fact we should own this competition and by a country mile, yet we sit behind Carlton & Essendon whilst adding to an already inflated number of grand final losses.

how ideal would it have been if the pies won 1977 1979 1980 1982 2002 2003 2011 2018 that's 8 runners up just in my life time. I was born in 1977.We will be on 23 premeirships by now.

I think it was 1981 instead of 1982 that the pies featured in the gf.
