Apparently he's our new goal kicking coach.

Our greatest goal kicker this century by miles and our fourth-highest living goal kicker all-time. We could do worse.

Hopefully it's a job share arrangement and someone else is exclusively coaching the kicks within 30 metres.

And on day 1 of pre-season training, new ruckman vs. new coach.

Our club must have mixed up "ruck coach" with "duck coach".

If he can help Mason with his pack marking then it's a good hire

T Cloke was one of the best contested marks I can remember seeing in a Pies jumper. But you can't teach that.

His goal kicking was fairly good in the early parts of his career. I honestly think it was in his head when he was spraying them. Was on track to reach 300 games as he was one of the youngest to reach 200. He ended on 246 with the club, but only played 13 games in his final season. At the Dogs, he played a further 10 games. (Ending on 256 total).

He is still only 32 years old, so he could have easily played 300 games if he didnt drop off.

All-Australian, Copeland trophy, premiership player, 15th for games played at the club.... we could do much worse. Already been working at the club. I saw him as a runner during the VFL season, and at a few training sessions.

He's a different person from his playing days. And I'm really glad that he's patched things up with the club/Bucks. He was never my favourite player, but he was a star.

Well if Anthony Rocca being ruck coach makes sense

Why not another ex forward being goal kick guru

Correct. He's coaching with the Academy, I put in the comment about goal kicking coach as a shit stir.

Teaching and doing are completely different things. Cloke knew how to kick straight he just couldn't physically get it right at end of his career.

Dunstall teaches alot af younger players how to kick....alot of them are spuds....

I think it’s a good appointment, a lot was said about his kicking for goal but he did a lot of other things very well that can be passed on to Cox, Checkers and even Grundy and Cameron when they are playing forward.
