Hard to resist, really: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/nov/16/old-nuclear-bunker-for-sale-arizona-desert-includes-original-equipment

I think the military took the Titan II ICBM away with them but there's a restored one nearby: https://titanmissilemuseum.org/

It's probably better value than player sponsorship, too, in the long run.

That is pretty awesome. A bit of a fixer upper though when you compare it to the museum. I wonder if you'd be allowed to excavate the whole thing, like the silo itself.

I'm in, that looks awesome.

Easy driving distance to Vegas, LA, San Deigo and El Paso, 12 acres of Desert to play in, where do I sign?

OK - but we're still 392 pledges short.

I'd probably go thirds with you and wokko if there was a Titan II included (we could probably on-sell it to somebody who had an immediate use for the thing and make - as it were and no pun intended - a killing) but it seems a big investment for a stretch of Arizona desert and a decommissioned bunker.

By the look of the joint we also need someone who can operate a vacuum cleaner and do some serious metalwork cleaning, which probably isn't you or me. I don't vacuum.

Count me in! I've always wanted an underground lair from which to plot world domination.

We need Skids in on this. He can manage the plumbing and the hydroponics

Enough of the latter good stuff and we might be able to save money on renovation.

Now I’ve had a look at the agent’s site, the detailed listing and the 3D tour, I’m a little concerned that the property requires a lead-based paint waiver. I do just want to say, though, that I very much enjoyed the terms of their inspection indemnity. Respect.

Does anyone know what Pinal County planning zone CR4 covers.?

Don’t worry - found it. It’s a residential zoning that permits development. I’m not sure - looking at the sweeping views to the mountains - how great the demand would be for a multiple unit development above ground. Still, we can run a home-based business from the site.
