No surprises there but has Broomhead staying on the list been swept under the carpet??

Good preseason under his broom and you will see him in the seniors...his temperament is sound and was in decent form before he broke his leg. Give the kid a chance to recover 😒

I liked him and thought he had potential, but couldn’t break into the Seniors last year which tells me something.

All the best Barry.

Tried hard, just couldnt find the footy enough at AFL level.
I can see him playing midfield / wing at state level and pushing for one last opp somewhere else.
Great clubman. Wish him all the best.

In suburban or bush footy he'll be a 100 goal full forward

Wish Ben well for the future.

Not surprised he was delisted. He didn't have enough weapons to be a regular starter in the senior side.

Thanks for playing for the Pies Bazza. The personal video regarding your fathers Alzheimers was moving, gut wrenchingly honest and incredible. Well done young fella.

All the best for the future

Delisted Collingwood forward Ben Crocker meets with AFL clubs ahead of draft

by Josh Gabelich, 27 Nov 2019

Axed Magpie Ben Crocker is a chance to extend his AFL career in 2020 after meeting with several clubs in recent weeks in Victoria and interstate.

Timing is everything in football.

And for Ben Crocker, he has been in the wrong place at the wrong time in the past two years.

With Jordan De Goey emerging from ratbag to superstar, Jaidyn Stephenson bursting onto the scene and Jamie Elliott roaring back to life this year, cementing a spot in Collingwood’s unconventional forward line has been one of the toughest tasks in football.

Since being delisted by the Magpies last month, the 22-year-old has attracted interest from a handful of clubs, both in Melbourne and beyond the Victorian border.

Crocker is understood to have met has met with three clubs and spoken to list managers, recruiters and assistant coaches at two other clubs as he searches for a lifeline.

He has been given no guarantees of a second chance but is prepared to pack up his life in Melbourne to continue his dream, which given his situation at home, is a bigger sacrifice than most players who will be picked this week.
