Dunn will be "drafted" in the pre supplement period in the new year.
He is training with the club and working/coaching with the AFLW players too.
It is strange that we passed in the rookie draft today though. I was very surprised to see we didnt have a crack at someone.
Maybe my math is off, I thought we had two picks. We only had one. |
As long he stays Injury Free and Comes up well after ACL

So just to confirm ( unless anyone knows otherwise ) it would appear after all pick swaps are done and dusted, that we enter the 2020 trade period with one selection in each round of the draft.
That’s a good result in that we can now easily manufacture the accumulation of points required to secure Reef McInnes without putting up our first round pick ( unless of course, McInnes has a growth spurt or a real spike in his footy development ) |

or Trade Up like Freo and GWS and get a Pick before we Need to have 1 for Reef

Well if McInnes does either, he will be the number one pick.
He’s already a quality bottom age midfielder at 191cm.
He played in the same team as Rowell, Anderson and Bianco this year, so he didn’t get a lot of opportunity. He should dominate next season. |

That can be a guide but it's not reliable. I was taller than both my parents when I was still in primary school

I was taking a little bit of license with the number one tag but he could be the big mover now that he will be a starter in the Chargers midfield in 2020.
He played key position a bit in 2019 and was ok but that’s not his natural position.
Recruiters use wrist measurements as their most accurate indication of growth potential. I don’t understand how the correlation works but it’s a staple in basic physical testing. |

That's interesting. I'll have to poke around the web for details.
The rough rule is: average of your parents' heights plus two inches. (Of course, as noted above, it can't apply to everyone.)

Absolutely. There are no guarantees but it remains part of the program until something better or additional comes along. |
