I reckon the one thing we can guarantee is that we wont end up with pick # 35 based on our desire to get closer to the pointy end.
As you posted, even if we don’t trade into the first round, players like Green ( GWS academy ) and Maguiness ( Hawks father son ) who will get called out in the first round, will virtually guarantee a little movement either side of 35.
Still a nostalgic trip down memory lane though.
I reckon I can remember Rod Osborne’s son kicking three goals ( ? ) against the Brisbane Bears ( ? ) in one of his only 5 games. |

Sorry to be a pedant but I think the name is Oborne rather than Osborne.

Fair to say this is a very boring lead up to the national draft and with good reason I guess as there is only so much mileage, enthusiasm and draft/trade scenarios one can eek out when your starting point is selection 35.
At this stage the best we can probably hope for is trading out our 2020 1st round selection for the opportunity to select the first player of the second round should a player we really rate still be available.
