Suprise Suprise, no Home game against Swans again. Will we ever get to play them in Melbourne again or are we too racist?

I love how our bottom 6 double up was Melbourne who are likely to be finalists.

Sydney at the SCG again, haven’t played them at the G since the Goodes finger pointing game in 2013.

Two grievances

1). No home game against Sydney for the 7th consecutive season.

2). Two home games at Marvel against Marvel tenants (Saints and Roos).

We have to travel to Perth twice. Not sure that's happened before.

Last time it happened was in 2002.

Interestingly, we're not travelling to Adelaide next year.

We play Gold Coast just ONCE ... in Round 23. So, up to that point, some clubs would've banked two easy wins (8 points), while we haven't played them once. Yeah, that seems fair.

Definitely there will be a high cost to pay with Primetime fixturing. Seems to me, that consistent week-to-week BIG games will surely impact player recovery times and increase the risk of injury probability. Six days recovery is not ideal. Unfortunately the Pies are now a 'high level' marketing tool for the AFL, who have scant regard for fixture equity. Will have an impact on membership eventually. Just my thoughts. rob.

Life isnt fair. Shit happens and there aint nothin' you can do about it.

If we are good enough it wont matter who we play, when we play or where we play.

Just gotta go to work each week and get the job done.

Even seems like our interstate games are getting harder. 3 weakest teams and we play them all in Melbourne.

Could be looking at 0-4 start to the season, with that bollocks. We get done over with the fixturing every year

Teams we get twice (which I feel is the biggest factor in determining how hard the fixture is).

Essendon
WCE
Bris
Rich
Melb

4 of the 5 made the 8 in 2019 and 3 of them were top 4. And Dees could be far from easy beats, if 2019 was a blip in their progress.

Throw in two perth trips.

Tough start too. Could be 0-3.

This is a tough fixture.
