Here's a big one. I would LOVE to see the AFL draw Geelong Vs Collingwood in Geelong. Would they complain? Would we? Would be a big talking point.

They certainly won't complain. According to Ch7 news tonight, Geelong have requested 11 home games.
Will Chris Scott never learn? I mean, when they reach the finals yet again on the back of a bunch of easy kills at home, they'll complain that they haven't played at the MCG nearly enough compared to Tigers and Pies. They can't have it both ways! A part of me says to give them the 11 home games, and then wait for the complaints about them not earning enough from gate receipts, and the need for the AFL to provide handouts to fund the difference...

What was the score then?

We lost - 19.14 to 19.11

I think that was around the time that Tony Shaw knew he wasn't going to continue coaching, and so was helping the club secure the no#1 draft pick. A good effort under those circumstances.

Not long until the draw comes out.

Still want North and Freo early. Adelaide and Gold Coast twice would also be welcomed. Cool

Such a stupid disruption to the season, I can only assume you're kidding.

I believe it’s their home game.

Opening at Marvel isnt too bad I guess... What do we have to play, 3 or 4 games there? Get one out of the way straight away.

And the last time the Dogs hosted us at Marvel (I mean Docklands) in round 1....

Great, soft tissue injuries at Marvel Stadium in Rd 1! That place is harder than Eddie's head.

Usually 3 game a year at Colonial Stadium (google it kids) and usually all mid season with some back to back - good to get an away game on this rock had surface out of the way early.

Lets us get the soft tissue injuries from this game back before the bye.

I reckon the AFL had a look at our injury list and our preseason injury management plans, then stacked the first month with tough games knowing we'd be trying to nurse players back from interrupted preseasons so we'll be 0-4 and bottom of the ladder.

Should be 3-1, 4-0 if Tigers have a premiership hangover

Also people need to get over their hate of Marvel, we have a 60% winning record there against the Dogs and haven’t lost to them since 2016 and have only lost 2 games at Marvel in that time!

We play worse at the MCG where we have a 51% winning record compared to Marvels 78% in the last 3 years. The more games at Marvel, the better! Before the horror show v. North, we’d won 7 in a row!
