If they're right, Hawthorn and Collingwood could form an alliance. Collingwood disables the players and then Hawthorn rehabs them. |

I don't know, because I refuse to speak to non-Collingwood fans. |
That's the spirit! |

Apparently this year’s trade period was the worst since 2011 did not ease any salary cap pressures and failed to score any draft picks woeful I has us as a 3/10 on the AFL website scored by the fans |

I assume we're having a look at what other clubs are letting go. Some of our out of contract players might be considered marginal, we keep them if there's nothing either better or as good but cheaper.
Wylie Buzza is one who's already attracting interest _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

"Conversely, Collingwood bringing back Dayne Beams was a relatively expensive trade that's not looking flash. If they'd not reached a deal last year – as Carlton, the Swans and Dons couldn't in the Papley/Daniher love triangle – the Pies would still have their first pick this year and a little more room in their loaded salary cap.
...
Indeed, the instant grading and ranking of trades is a complete nonsense, but it has become necessary content – more so since an entrepreneurial Craig Hutchison and the AFL joined forces to expand what I term the Player Movement Industrial Complex – a new media economy within the game...
This new economy of player movement again produced massive interest and numbers in 2019, with the AFL and Hutchy's Crocmedia figures showing Trade Radio increased streams from 1.367 million to 2.96 million, peaking at 737,000 on deadline day.
These numbers belied the reality that there were more platforms and journalists covering this trade period than actual trades. So, there were deadly dull days..."

So are we only delisting 1 player? Looking likely at this stage. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

For some reason Collingwood always waits until almost the deadline at the end of October before it makes it’s final delistings. My guess is that there is at least one more to go and that players already know their fate. They may want to know who from other clubs have been delisted before they make a final decision how picks they want in the national draft. |

We only have 3 selections in the draft, so we may not know who is best to delist until after that. |
