Unlike in the past when we've tried to cheat a bit on a second ruckman with Q Lynch and Jessie White, this guy is a genuine 2 metre plus ruckman who might have just been a victim of Sydney's depth in that department.

Watched brief highlights of the guy and as noted he seems a good pack mark

Hope he goes ok with us

Finally - Collingwood involved in a Trade - SERIOUSLY why did it take so long?

Should have been done day 1.

Now we need the following to go through
- Aish to Freo for pick 22 or (St Kilda's 18 for Hill)
- Wills to North for Pick 8 or 26 or 27 - they need a Big Bodied Mid.
- Scharenberg to Adelaide for Jenkins and pick 49 or next years 3rd round (Scharenberg a gun and 6.5 years younger)

Can you come to my home and "VALUE" my house?

😂😂

The Darcy Cameron trade was the trade we had to do. We dodged a bullet last year by only really having one genuine ruckman on our primary list.
The trade is nothing more than prudent list management.
If he doesn’t play a game for the club, it’s still the right call to make.

As for all the whinging about our lack of trade activity, I notice it generally comes from the same posters who slam any deal we do anyway
The club will never do the right thing by some on here. The club is damned if it does and damned if it doesn’t.

We’ve got players with big reputation,s and haven’t faired well for poor form or injuries

He has something that our 2 IC ruck Mason hasn’t got —he appears a better mark and taps to players

Do you think Sidanee might have been a bit preoccupied?

Trade requires at least two parties to particpate. The Pies might have wanted this to occur on day one but Sidanee needed to see how the cards fall, to see what picks they have available & see the lay of the land as one possible explanation

Welcome to Collingwood Darcy - you are already more famous than you ever would have been at the Swans.

No bullet dodged at all

If Grundy goes down, our season goes to the shit. Darcy isn't going to be the answer. All he does is play ruck is a ruined season.

Basically we got him in the hope he plays his entire career in the VFL.

Great pick up. Insurance for both Grundy and Cox. If either of them goes down he can fit straight in and play a role.

Also good for our VFL team with 2 big blokes who can alternate Ruck/Forward, same model as the AFL team.

He can take a mark, kick straight and ruck. Get him to latch onto Grundy over preseason and try to do what he does
