Will be a restricted free agent at the end of 2020. The club has to seriously consider him and he would slot in beautifully as our number one forward.
Apparently, Lynch had been on the Tigers' radar for a good 18 months before they recruited him so I hope we're looking at Cameron as we speak as an option. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Ben King from GC.
A younger version of Lynch.
Cameron would be fantastic but don’t know if he’d come. _________________ - Side By Side - |

Me too. I posted during the match against “us” we should be into him. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Only problem is I don’t see how we afford a Cameron/King and JDG and Grundy. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

He won't be leaving GWS. His manager (at Cameron's request) recently instigated contract negotiations with GWS for an extension. This year he was paid $1.2m and next year $1.3m because his contract is back ended. He is seeking $1m+ per year with an extended contract. Hypothetically, if contract negotiations stall, who would we be prepared to lose (Grundy? De Goey?) to fit him in? (it has been reported we will have to find $800K to $1M in our salary cap next year to keep Grundy, De Goey and Moore) |

FWIW he won the GF sprint. (Only 9 ran. How do they decide which clubs compete?)
Slow time of 11.6s, but maybe the grass is part of the problem. |

To be fair it appeared WHE had no interest in running, must have had a decent week. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Ben King if he comes home to Victoria will go to St Kilda. He is a made keen saint fan and the Saints took his brother in the hope he will want to play with him |

Tom Lynch was a mad Collingwood supporter who went to Richmond.

Lynch chose Richmond because they had Reiwold to learn from and to keep attention off him.
He knew if he came to Collingwood he would be treated as the new messiah and would have drowned under the weight of expectation. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |
