Very happy and pleased for all the girls.
All the players and coaches worked hard during the season have been rewarded.
Especially pleased for the coach Penny Cula-Reid.
Was able to chat to her during the season and she is a great person & passionate about footy and developing the women's game.

Sharni Layton, was an elite netballer played for the Pies and the Diamonds.
AFLW listed rookie last season and has improved heaps.
Having her enthusiasm and big game experience (albeit in a different sport) has been very helpful for the younger players.

I too shed a tear and had a few laughs when I saw my neighbour jumping around and hugging everyone.
Alice was a rep netballer and gave netball away to play footy for Caulfield Grammar a couple of years ago. Played as a 23rd player for the Pies during the season.
