These are the players nominated by their teammates for each award:

MVP: Jordan De Goey, Brodie Grundy, Scott Pendlebury
Most Courageous: Levi Greenwood
Best First Year: Isaac Quaynor

I note that Pendles was also nominated for Captain - but I'm not really sure who else at Collingwood our players would vote for.

And yet Grundy is still the MVP of any team in the AFL.

^ Yes, well Grundy would probably already be acknowledged as one of the greatest players ever to play the game, if he wore a different jumper. I hope Adelaide don't mention that to him - you know, "Hey Brodie, come to SA and we'll get you put straight into the Hall of Fame as a Legend".

Seriously, who would have Cripps in their team ahead of Grundy based on this year's form? You'd have Cripps in your team, if you could - but not ahead of Thor.
