Last night looking at Brown running through the middle and lacing out the short drop punt to a leading forward.
I thought he reminded me of Barry Price.
Same build same taking the game on.
And the same lowering of the eyes.
I liked what I saw.
Even if Brown doesnt kick stab kicks.

Had a lot of knockers, but has stood tall.

Love how he backs himself and has footy smarts. His 11 goals this season have been a nice addition to his game this year.
Is only going to get better from here and build on his 32 games. Future star, future Captain.

He has proven this season that he is faster and pacier on the spread than previous seasons. If he can find 10-15 more metres in his kicking range over Summer, we may have a star!

Currently looking to play on at every opportunity, needs to take stock a bit more. But he is coming along nicely and gaining confidence and belief with every game.

Ran backwards into contests with eyes only for the ball a couple of times against the crows.

Looks like Rowdy's son to me, trying to make a go of it and good on him.

I think we have a good one regardless of his linage.

That was my thought too.

It took Gary Ablett junior many years before he turned himself into a bona fide star after starting out as a small forward and eventually moving into the midfield.

Masoncox, that's a huge wrap!
Barry Price started as a rover and didn't quite look up to it.
By 1970 he'd become a star centreman.

Your analogy is apt and if Callum's half as good as Price............

He's made excellent progress this year, and has a bright future ahead of him.

Still has plenty of improvement left in him, but I'm enthused by what I've seen from him this year.

To me , he now looks more confident and comfortable in his own ability. Think he now knows, as we do, he belongs. Will only get better and better. One if the bright lights of this year, so far. 👍

Yeah I get that.

Not just his creative running and precise kicking but also his clean hands in close

Its his first 2-3 metres off the mark that often leave the opposition flat footed, though I bet they're told to guard him more closely now.

He's ridiculously quick off the mark, like Callum Brown. His hand are so clean, he reminds me of Callum Brown. His kicking to advantage is magnificent - and entirely reminiscent of Callum Brown. His forward-50 tackling and repeat efforts generate goals like no-one for us since Callum Brown.
