Bias umpires in Adelaide

Did anyone notice how bias the umpires were? They refused to pay free kicks for us and let pay continue while paying frees to Adelaide at every ridiculous opportunity. I'm sure this would be a much bigger issue if we lost the game. After the match I check the free kick stats and was not surprised by how one sided it was. (22-9)

No one at the Club raises the issue there's been many over the years!
So on & on it goes...

Looking back (& I new it was going to happen) the Freo result earlier in the year has fk'ed us up royally!

See my Play On Not 15! thread. Some those calls were mind-boggling. One kick clearly went at least 20m, but the umpire called not 15m as soon as the ball hit the boot -- are they psychic, incompetent, or deliberately putting our players off?

Pray we don't get any of these in the finals, else we are royally shafted.

What about the free against Sidey when he was trying to turn his man inside out, and ran out of space along the boundary....pays deliberate. The look on Sidey's face said it all.

Funny thing the Crows were 50 points down for a large part of the match, yet they still kept paying them frees. Such a waste. If you're going to cheat, at least try to cheat us out of a win. Maybe they are just practising for the finals.

Just watched the replay; most of those Crows frees were actually there, albeit tiggy-touchwood calls.

And several frees to us were "missed", so the tally should have been much closer really.

But maggots are maggots at the end of the day, and we shouldn't expect anything better, after the 2018GF umpiring shitfesta ...

I think we actually lead the comp for free kicks for: maybe dropped down after Saturday however...

Ryan was the maggot who didn't pay the free kick in the dying stages of the Grand Final so we already know what he thinks of us, but I thought that may have just been his natural WA bias shining through.

i thought they missed a lot both ways and they were inconsistent. They also were obsessed with calling play on when either side chipped it around.

Mediocre performance, but i didnt think they were biased.

I think that Adelaide played with very little aggression which accounted for our low free kick tally. most frees are given away by players who are walking the line between manic pressure and overdoing it.

Hard to give away free kicks when you are sleepwalking!!!
