Glad you have your priorities straight TP. Laughing You're a true heart and soul Collingwood supporter.
My daughter was in Venice just 3 weeks ago. Sadly, she didn't inherit the black and white gene. Crying or Very sad

Commiserations PP. My kids did not inherit the black and white gene either, or at best only a recessive version of it. But your kids cannot dictate your thoughts afterall. Nor can you dictate theirs.

Very wise comment MTTM. My daughter just phoned me from Sophia, Bulgaria and actually asked how I was Wink I said I'm just great... Collingwood won!! She at least understands (a little anyway) the magnitude of what that means to me. Very Happy

My kids all barrack for the Pies, as do my 6 Grandkids. ages 0-6, its kinda mandatory in our fam. Razz Surprised

Our best performance for the year. Plenty to like about that one. Best of all by piling the goals on in the second half our percentage passed the Eagles'. That means whatever happens tomorrow (Tigers v. Eagles) we are back in the top 4.

What ladder are u looking at?

Solid win - tick

Four quarter performance - tick

No Injuries - tick

Functioning forward line - tick

There's still room for improvement but we're working our way into some good form, and looking good for the finals with major players still to return.

How the hell did the Crows get smashed by us and still leapfrog Port into the eight? Shows how badly the Adelaide sides are going at the moment. Glad that North can't make it because they'd be a handful at the moment.

Great win - took the crowd noise out of it immediately - that was a huge factor in the game.

Very happy with Wills - he shut down Crouch.
Geelong losing was disappointing - if we finish 4th we're likely to play in Perth which has been an issue for sides returning.

Adelaide had very heavy legs yesterday, and I'd say the Bombers will be the same on Friday night. Something about the hardness of that Optus ground.

Keep winning is all we can do. We have no fear and we look like we're hitting form at the pointy end again. Go Pies

Watching the highlights and I am getting very happy about Mrs.Brown,s boy

His run toward a marking contest back to and not looking at opponent
Gets a hard body hit but don’t flinch (just like Mr Brown Snr.)

Then a little later his quik hands to Varcoe in goal square for a goaaaaaaaal

He is the real deal IMHO

Players finding form at the right time.

Really believe that Bucks gave the order at three quarter time to not slacken off like last week and pile on the percentage.

Who will miss out for De Goey and Stevo? Confused

Sorry to burst your bubble but if Bitchmond win, they will be back in 4th again. We are on the same number of points, 56, right now.

He thinks quickly and his foot speed is exceptional. He first 5 yards is lightning fast. He also makes opportunities out of nothing due to his ability to read the play and impact a contest.

I love how Callum plays on as a first option. He usually gets caught holding the bull once i game, but I don’t mind that. More often than not he creates with fast ball movement. He’s becoming a very very good player.

Good to see a few players who had been out of form all season, at least playing better footy at the business end of the season.
If nothing else, we may yet have some pleasant problems at the selection table in the coming weeks.
Varcoe has started kicking goals and his ball handling has improved in last couple weeks
Thomas is getting more of it and that generally translates to the scoreboard
Elliot has finally got some reward for his efforts
Howe has had an ok season but his last couple games have been much more Howe like
Adams is now up with the pace after a long lay off
Madgen is an improved footballer on last year. Not sure he will be good enough against the big boys but they wouldn’t be disappointed with what he is bringing to the table.
Sharenberg is interesting. There will be opposition teams where you can now trust him with his match up. I’m still not convinced there will be a spot for him against every finals team this year but he also looks up to ( his ) speed after a long lay off
There was always going to be a spot for either Wills or Sier if they were both available. One player has taken his chances, the other not so much.

It’s all relative to the opposition but you are always looking for your second tier players to be playing their best footy around finals time.
On the back of the last couple weeks, I think we are achieving that with a few of our “ lesser lights “ ( obviously not Howe or Adams )

I was impressed with the whole team effort.
I’d like to mention in particular Madgen and Wills.
They’re probably the most vulnerable with DeGoey, Moore and Stevo coming back. I think they both held their own last night. Madgen was solid, and like last week seemed to take the game on, running it out s few times. Shows confidence.
Wills is the missing link we’ve needed. His inside work and tackling is first class. He and Adams, are allowing Treloar and Scotty to spread and do their thing.
Both can hold their head up.
