Congrats to Levi 'The Pig' Greenwood who will play his 150th AFL game against the Crows this week (just a game or two more played for the Pies than for his former team North).

The meat in Collingwood's sandwich.

EDIT: And a little video action from a month ago when Greenwood was selected the Pies' Player of the Week : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91MxzhzKLhE

always has been underrated here on nicks even though he is the most fearful player we have bar none on the list. he rarely stuffs up and plays multiple roles. he truly brings the shinboner title to Collingwood. top stuff Levi.

Oink oink! Congrats Levi, you're a top bloke and an underrated footy player. Love your game.

PS I'm still pissed at FOX/7 not talking about Jamie Elliot's 100 a few weeks ago. Dogs.

I'm guessing you either meant most 'feared' or 'fearless'.
Either way, I'm not going to argue.

Although I reckon Maynard or Crisp would be in contention for most fearless. Or maybe Howie for those crazy jumps into the stratosphere.

I think the correct word to apply here is 'fearsome'.

The guttiest player we have at the club who gives 100% every time he takes the field. Not enamoured with any great skills he has extracted every ounce of his talent he has to give and made the transition from pure tagger to defensive back at a time when so many others of his type have failed.

Taylor Adams alludes to the reason here: https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/we-barely-spoke-collingwood-midfielder-taylor-adams-reveals-former-biff-with-levi-greenwood/news-story/8f8d31a00ed3cdd7277521f39b4fb30d

And its mentioned in this Age article :
The biggest footballing hassle Greenwood is experiencing is the resilience around the club of the "pig" nickname bestowed on him by former teammate Alan Obst. As a teen, he naively explained to his teammates that he "absolutely hated it" – guaranteeing its retention.

^ great tribute!!! Well said.

Admired hugely for his exceptional courage and toughness, but rarely lauded for it, because he's a quiet achiever (the kind I like the best!). So pleased that he has now played more games in black and white than those other colours.

Ah, but did you celebrate J. Witts's 100th game last weekend?

Congratulations Levi Greenwood! A real tough nut, and has been brilliant in defence this year. I hope you have a cracker for your milestone game.
