Hawthorn will be there by the end of the round, not sure I’d be backing Port to win given their performance tonight.
Hawthorn with a chance to make finals v West Coast who has looked shaky at times, they’d be a very good chance |

At this stage, it's likely that Hawthorn, if it gets in, gets knocked straight out. Of course, if they beat up Richmond first, along the way, that'll be funny, too. They can't win the flag. |

Another unfortunate consequence of Geelong losing today is that, if West Coast wins tomorrow (as we hope they will), then we will probably now have to head over to Perth to play them in Week 1 (if Richmond beat Brisbane and the Eagles beat Hawthorn).
Would much prefer to play either Brisbane or Geelong first up, tbh. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Look at the upside of that: we wouldn't have to do the Perth trip for the remainder of the finals...it's better playing them with the double chance in hand rather than a knockout final _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |

They can’t win the flag and Collingwood can’t beat them! |

I didn’t see the game but with the cattle out there today, theteam we played at their home ground, and smashed them, I wouldn’t write us off against anyone. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Hawthorn would have to beat them in perth next week, which looks very unlikely.
I think Tigers losing one is our only realistic chance but it's a good chance. |

If Hawks gets 8th and we end up 5th, we'll be the ones knocked straight out.
I'd rather not see the Hawks in the finals. |

Some of you need to be a little more balanced about Hawthorn. They got us on the back of successive 6-day breaks after matches at Docklands, barely touched the ball for three quarters and got us at the end (barely, by 4 points) because we ran out of legs. They're terrible - it was the ridiculous fixture that cost us that game, not Hawthorn. |

Ding! Winner! If we can't play the Cats first up, better to play in Perth with the double chance. However we could end up going to Brisbane, then off to Perth/or back on the G. But we must beat Essendon first. _________________ Get back on top. |
