Everyone's worried about Giants rebound from defense....why put another tall slow forward for them to run rings around? |

Bring him in for a farewell game on condition that he poleaxes that Toby prick. Goldie can then work off the ten week suspension during his retirement on a beach somewhere. |

We need a genuine tall forward imo, which Goldy aint. The person needs to be able to chop out in the ruck as well.
For mine, Reid is the only one who can fill that role. |

The simple fact that Goldsack hasn't been a preferred option all season and didn't play a single senior game should be all the convincing you need that he's absolutely no chance.

Never really did well as a forward, not sure how he could magically turn that around a week out from retirement. Only hope would be defence and that's not going to happen this week

Yeah, Nah.
I love Goldie but he can't play as a tall forward. He can pinch hit as a tall back, but when he plays forward it's about speed and tackling.
