Do we even know if Noble is any good?

I don't think he's even played a VFL game yet, has he?

I'm not aware of Daics kicking many goals in the VFL either, so I wouldn't be sure that he'd get a call up.

Noble looked good in SANFL , but I think they want to get his conditioning up.

^ Well, they can't get his conditioning up when he's not even playing. There was talk in the other thread that he's injured.

Walshy said conditioning maybe they injured him conditioning him.

Maybe "conditioning" is Walshy's way of saying "rehab". We know you don't need conditioning to play VFL. VFL is there to help conditioning (e.g. Scharenberg). Noble has not played VFL yet.

He was playing State League in SA prior to mid season draft wasn’t he

Conditioning my fat aunt —just go into VFL and sometimes the club mystifies me

Agree with those who say Stephenson’s loss isn’t the end of the world.
Whether he plays or not, doesn’t alter our number of inside 50s. Clearly he is a fine talent but Bucks will re tweak it that other players will rotate as deep forward options and hopefully we may even become less predictable for the next few weeks. Watch this space.

He has an issue with his hamstring.

The club said very little about the extent of it, but Elliott himself said it was "not serious" despite having missed a number of weeks now

Elliott would be the perfect replacement for Stevo but I suspect he is permanently "stuffed"; certainly too physically fragile to expect any longevity at all let alone 10 more games plus finals. Should be discounted in any future planning. Very very sad but true IMO.

This game now has danger written all over it, I saw these bastards last time I was there, they really pushed us on the G, now we face them on their own little shithole, that ground I utterly detest. With Stevo out, all bets are off, pardon the pun.!

Look, I was thinking of Ben Crocker too. He might have improved since we saw him a couple of years ago. His absence from the team for a long time does not preclude this, since he has been competing with the likes of Stepho, Elliot, etc. Now is his one last chance, that is for sure.
