thankyou, much appreciated, high praise in deed!

I have a canon 7D, which aside from the canon 1DX is the fastest in canons range, both take 10 shots per second, the 1DX is pro level, mine i guess is entry pro level for a sports photographer! there is about 7 grand difference in price! For these I used a simple 18-200mm sigma lens, its not bad, i do have a better 70-200L pro lens, (i bought it preloved!!) but its too heavy to hold for the whole game, and your not allowed to take in a monopod, which is fair enough.

The pics came out pretty good straight out of camera (SOOC) but i took some of the grain out with adobe lightroom. I just love taking photos and editing too!

thanks again, cheers

Thanks mate!

I upgraded from the 700D and it was a massive learning curve, but Iā€™m so glad I did! I got mine online, from digidirect, they have a shop in the city too, much cheaper than anywhere else! I love it! And your lenses will fit too!

Cheers!

Yeah, I got mine from digidirect in the city. They are much cheaper than Ted's or Michaels

So awesome shots there Jo!
I like the Grundy/Gawn ruck contest pic the most, as you clicked right when the ball was at the apex of both their hands.

You know what would be really good [what Dyso...?], if you could perhaps bundle the best pics up each week in a microsoft.pps format for download on the forum [or elsewhere]. But perhaps you are running a MAC, in which case I don't know if there is an equivalent powerpoint programme?
