Really?
Considering we're one of the top 4 and we are yet to play one of the others, does this have any true relevance?
The Cats beat us by 7 points in round 1 in a game which could have gone either way.

Silly thread.

Obviously there’s a lot to play out between now and September .
However, if the Cats are going to do a Tigers in 2017 and go through the season without any long term injuries, then all teams will continue to struggle against them.

No need to start these threads now, we will find out between Rounds 17-22 where we stand and I am sure everyone will have their say fans and media alike. As I said in another thread Grundy and Adams are our most important cogs and need these 2 cherry ripe come September otherwise we won’t win the flag.

Little relevance when we're half way through the season and we don't play 3 of the current top 4 teams twice.
So the thread might be 'we can't beat Geelong or West Coast'. That won't change until the finals.

Unless there's a material surge up the ladder from a lower side, there's only ever 3 other teams we can beat.

Round 5 we beat 4th placed Brisbane.

We really need to be starting to crush sides by early July.
Who knows what the top four will comprise by then.

Richmond were top 4 when we smashed them with their best team intact

^ Half right - they were without Rance (but we were without Adams and WHE). And we did beat Brisbane (4th) away in round 5.

^ Rance was injured in tigers round 1 game against Carlton. Jack Reiwoldt is the one who was injured in the Pies game after the game was well and truly won

Yes, we actually threw that game away, dumb decisions, bit like the Dockers loss, id love to play the Cats again pre Finals but we don't.
