I was on the bus going back to Melbourne and it was full of cheer squad members. The bus was rocking and the driver cracked it and stopped and said he was going to leave us where we were on the Hume Highway. A MTB bus driver said "Well eff of then, I will drive these kids home". Driver relented and we were told to quieten down. 15 minutes later we drive past the Western suburbs footy ground and they had a giant magpie on the side of the building and it started up again. Electric Pandas and Misex were playing at the hotel on the saturday night but the kids couldn't go. I spoke to the manager and he opened a side room so the kids could see them but they were only allowed soft drinks and no smoking. One of the kids was so grateful he collected the Bourbon and Beefsteak vouchers they gave us all and gave them to me. 60 free drinks which 3 of us used to good advantage.

Watching the highlights package of the PF 2010 just reminded me how good that team was. Should have won at least one more flag. Sigh!
