The umpires were well off the field when the booing started. They booed when the umpires left the field immediately after the game. Then there was a bit of a lull as the presentation area was set up. The booing started again when they announced Scott as the winner of the medal.
Regardless of what the Essendon supporters thought they were booing for, it was completely poor form.
I don’t like booing at all. Especially after the game is done and dusted. Imagine booing like that after the grand final when the norm smith medallist is announced?? Not on.

I just watched the full replay & ESS are talking shit if they are really booing at the umpires. The umpires were well off the ground before our song concluded.
Then there was a bit of silence until they set up for presentation & the booing started when Pendles actually started to speak.
Feral bastards & those losers booing were seen on TV have been outed for the wankers they truly are!

Just watched the fox reply. Definite boo for Pendles when he was announced the winner and again when pies were awarded the cup.

On the TV coverage, the moment Pendles was getting booed the camera cut to Worsfold and he had a smirk on his face. Then came his weak response in his presser. As a player Worsfold was as dirty as they come.
Pretty shameful stuff really, but would you expect anything less from the Dopers? |
