No cannot be assumed that he will be fine. If ever concussion is an issue then the player concerned should never play the next game. T _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Essendon were good against a lacklustre north
They were allowed to just run around at will doing as they pleased not being made accountable
This won't happen on Thursday
They have several down hill skiers who run hard coward of the ball but not as fast going back (Shiel is the exception)
We need to really get physical with them I believe there soft at the contests
There forward line could pose a problem if we don't control the game. They have speed there which is a problem for our defence if we don't watch our step
Grundy will be vital if he gives us first use and we use it wisely when we have them covered but if they break even at the contests and clearances then we are in trouble
I would play Treloar on Merritt and see if he wants to play defence
Moore makes sense on Daniher
Sit Cox in the goal square and let the others work 20m and further up the ground
I liked what I saw at the Gabba Thursday we showed many good signs but still have a few things to improve on

The only 'Bruising"was that of the Norf club's ego. They are pathetic. |

Are we expecting him to break into the side for Anzac Day? |
He's the guy for whom a new thread has been started criticising our poor recruiting every time he touches the football more than once in a quarter. So, we get two or three such threads a year. |
Not sure that anyone should be so complacent about Stewart |
There, quick - start a thread about our poor recruiting. Stewart = Gun etc
Meanwhile, here's the player compare for The Poor Man's Mihocek: https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=6&playerStatus2=A&tid2=5&type=A&pid1=3821&pid2=6553&fid1=C&fid2=C |

Sier isn't playing in the VFL today. Either that means they're keeping him very fresh for Anzac Day or it means that he couldn't back up for a second VFL game in a row, in which case he is no hope to be picked for Anzac Day. Take your pick. |

Hmmmm.... interesting. I noticed there was an article on afl.com.au about players not getting a chance at their current clubs, that would be great pick ups for other clubs. Brayden Sier was at the top of the list!!! Oh how the media drives me insane sometimes.
So, let's hope he's been put on ice for Anzac Day. We may very well need him!!! |

Yes, I saw that article and thought, given his level of fitness, that it was about as sensible as suggesting that Scharenberg and Dunn aren't "getting a chance" at the moment. |

Sier has an ankle injury.
Appleby playing, but seems on limited minutes. He'd be the likely replacement if Aish doesn't get up. _________________ Well done boys! |

I wouldn’t underestimate Brown either. While going under the radar he knows how to snag a few.
And I like my snags _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

With a five day turnaround, I would also be looking for players who are playing today but are rested from around half time onwards.
Guys like I Q and Appleby, Goldy etc may have the feet up early in the third.
Obviously that option would also be available to Sier if he was ok to play today, so my guess is he’s out with an injury of some description. |

Really looking forward to this match. Day off from work and Essendon are really gearing up for thus match. Apart from anything else tackling pressure is something Essendon hasn’t experienced in the last 2 weeks _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Ok, so Inkling has pretty much answered all of the above.
Cheers |

^^Actually, seems that Appleby also injured his ankle, hence the limited minutes _________________ Well done boys! |
