It would be crazy to drop Brown to bring in Appleby.

Mayne will be out.

Beams mightn't get up.

Appleby comes in for Mayne.

Aish or Maynard moved to the wing.

You awake? Laughing

So if a player getting reported is based on the severity of the injury caused, why wasn't Wallis reported?
After all, Cox just stood there and he got fined $3000 for someone running in to him.
You don't accidentally knee someone in the kidneys and incidentally break 2 vertebrae. Watch the replay if you think this is an accident.

Daicos would be my choice to replace Mayne in the side. We need players that are skilled and make quick decisions.

skilled and quick at making decisions. hmmm, that would be Daniel Wells for mine....

Seriously, Appleby has done absolutely nothing wrong since cracking a spot on the team except getting injured. He might be a best 22 calibre guy. Would love to see him get another shot.

^ I'm the biggest Wells fan, but he needs a few weeks of solid VFL form to be considered.
I like Appleby except he's a dodgy kick....bad action and his kicks are slow through the air. He needs to fix that if he wants an AFL career.

Agree. Even if it was not deliberate, it was negligent.

Aish out for the second half Vs Lions.

Came from that speckie attempt.

So who'll be looking at an Anzac Day call up?

Sier? Greenwood? Daicos? Wells??

First of two stray posts that should have been in the game thread.

VFL will be delightful this week.

1. AFL team having a win.

2. Vic Park.

3. They'll be a few with an eye on an Anzac Day spot.

Laughing Laughing Remember Mark McGough?? I think it was his second game though.

Collingwood players to have their debut in the Anzac Day game are:

Mason Cox (2016)
Josh Smith (2016)
Kirk Ugle (2012)
Brent Macaffer (2009)
Sharrod Wellingham (2008)
Travis Cloke (2005)
Cameron Cloke (2004)
Jason Wild (1995)

So yes, IQ might be a nice inclusion!!
