Based on our lack of fitness we will start underdogs over the next three games.
We won’t recover from a 0-4 start. Sadly, this looks like Adelaide 2018. |

Jesus, I mean I’m negative but it’s not all doom and gloom. Had we not wasted so many shots we would have won by 5 goals.

People have to relax. got to remember, we started ba k a month later then all other teams (west coast aside). I was getting worried about all the BS talk pre season about how "amazing" we are...I am sorry we are best as underdogs....we play best under the radar...let another team take the hype.
If we can sit bottom half of the 8 till mid year...stay fit...then male our charge.

If Haff is not as negative as you are, you need to be put down... C'mon guys - Geelong played like they had too short a pre season - and they beat us by three weeks!!
We'll probably be 0-3 or at best 1-2, but we can still make finals and make top four and f*** the pretenders from there. If it's lack of fitness, no problems. More likely, lack of the team gelling with 4 essentially new players in Moore, Elliot, Roughead and Beams, might take a little longer but we'll be there in September.
Pity the umpires decided to give the win to Geelong, but wont matter in the long run. Watch the first 15 minutes of the last quarter and ask yourself if the game is rigged... you won't like the answer!!

Calling it after round 1 Adz, wow, we played poorly and still only lost by a goal.
We are four weeks behind every other team besides West Coast on fitness.
And we have a clean injury sheet.
Yep, shame we lost ..but we lose all that media hype.

Some people are just imbeciles.
We were 0-2 last year and look what happened.
We played crap and lost by just over a kick.
Dropped marks, rubbish field kicking, even worse kicking for goal and ridiculous handballs.
Should have been 3 goals or more up at half time but kept them in it.
One game into the year.
Get over yourselves.

Remember we were going to be 1-3 last year going to Adelaide and that game changed our season. We were too cute tonight with the ball under finals type intensity that Round 1 always brings and the skills will get better and hopefully our decision making in the F50.
Hard arse mids was our problem tonight, got done at the coalface. Adams and an in form Sier will make a big difference. If Elliot continues his form throughout the season play De Goey a little bit more at the Clearances.

I don't think that's true. Wasn't it just a week later than Melb & Rich, and two weeks later than GWS, etc., and three weeks later than ...? |
