Not shocking, but a usually reliable source is suggesting that Tyson Goldsack, Lynden Dunn and Daniel Wells will shortly announce their intention to retire at the end of the season.

Lynden to be given a coaching role for next year.

Not surprised at all. I'd love to see Goldy get a chance to play a farewell game. He really should have played a few matches this season.

Goldy got the absolute best out of himself. Great career mate, still remember when you took on Goodes in that elimination final and was a key to us getting that win.

The Sack (an affectionate name for the great man) if practical should do a “Jarrod Roughy “ and grace the Gee one more time

Competition competitive may scamper that but boy don’t we owe the man for what he has given all Collingwood people

He epitomises club loyalty

Timing maybe but the article in AFL news says Dunn in line for an off field roll and a slight possibility Harv,s getting interviewed for Saints coaching job

I don’t hold out much hope for Robert return to Saints but if it did would Mr Dunn get a small coaching roll seeing there is a vacancy in the wage outlay at Holden Centre

A sad day when Goldie retires hard as nails Utility who gave his all with a laid back country boy charm. Has a Pool and Gymnasium named after him on East Boundary Road East Bentleigh after receiving his premiership medal.

Carlton it’s said are cashed up to buy Coniglio ???

With that trio (or duo if Dunn stays on the books) how much cash can we splash on an A grader like Jeremy Cameron or Ed Langdon etc etc

Over 30 Pies:

Daniel Wells 34. Very sad that he couldn't string a bunch of games together. Considering what we paid him and to only get 15 games.... Anyway, maybe he has a few games left and a fairytale finish.

Tyson Goldsack 32. Sad that he hasn't been able to get back into the side this year. Almost had the fairytale story last year. I dont think he's going to be able to get a game now, but who knows? 165 games and a premiership with the club, he's been a sensational clubman.

Lynden Dunn 32. Another sad ending. Who knows what could have happened if we had him for a full season? Isn't going to get the fairytale end he deserves. But as many have suggested, will enter the coaching game and who knows where that will take him?

Scott Pendlebury 31. Can play until he's 41 if you ask me.

Travis Varcoe 31. Another great clubman. 81 games for the club. Dont think he'll be able to make it to 100. Really wanted him to win a flag with Collingwood. Maybe a rookie selection next year?

Chris Mayne 30. One more year on his contract. Very happy for him to go on and we'll see what happens next year.

Levi Greenwood 30. Give him another year.

Ben Reid 30. I'd be very surprised if he gets another contract. 149 games and a premiership. It's not too bad. But yeah its frustrating that he only played 50 odd games in 6 years. Could have been remembered as a star.

Dayne Beams 30 in Feb 2020. Was happy to bring him back, but we paid too much draft pick wise. Praying he has some 2020 and repays the faith.

Jeremy Howe 30 in June 2020. As long as he's still taking screamers, he stays. Razz

Natural attrition will help cull the list shortly; wouldn't expect any surprise delistings really, no need, only have to make the 4-5 required.
