Couldn't see an existing thread, sorry if one has already started.

Took a look at our list and considering our injury list is improving, I thought about the 22 players I would like to take into the finals this year, assuming all are fit (which probably won't happen).

Players probably won't play in nominated positions but...

Backs:
Moore - seems to be playing good football at the moment
Langdon - stepped up in GF
Howe - would prefer him on wing...
Crisp - is apparently highest dream team defender
Roughead - premiership player, ruck option
Quaynor - looks like a ready made footballer

Mids:
Grundy - should have a great year
Pendlebury - only needs a flag or two to become one of the very great Pies
Treloar - great effort to play in finals
Adams - future leader
Sidebottom - something to prove after quiet GF?
Sier - this kid is very good

Forwards:
Cox - still improving
Elliott - certainly best 22 if fit
De Goey - will probably spend time in mid
Stephenson - needs to build on 2018
Hoskin-Elliott - missed his scoring input at the end of last year
Beams - welcome back. Gun player

Interchange:
Phillips - will likely start on wing anyway
Wells - if he gets fit he adds class (a big if)
and pick any 2 of: Thomas, Mihochek, Varcoe, Maynard, Aish (?), Mayne

Serious apology to Dunn but Roughead provides a ruck option. Make either Dunn or Goldsack captain of the reserves.

Not sure if Reid will get back to best 22, but may be insurance.

Scharenberg is stiff, but I don't think he can play if Langdon does (and Langdon has leapt ahead).

Daicos and Brown will need to make huge steps to come into consideration. They are small bodied players who just don't excel.

We would hope that Kelly and Lynch can come on, perhaps for a game during the year.

Looking forward to the Gabba game and possibly the one against the Swans in Sydney.

There are probably about five existing threads. But don't worry; none is mine. Wink
