I was heartened by Daics as his engine has considerably strengthened

As said Moore pulled down good intersept mark in a pack even

And Billy slotted some big ones

I forget to mention Aish. Boy is he polished

Nothing much to get excited about, but there were a few good signs.

1. Elliott is ready to go. Our most effective forward and looks fit and fast.

2. Beams is ready to rumble. A couple of trademark across his body goals from 40 metres out.

3. Aish was among our best and hopefully he could finally be ready for a breakout year.

4. Moore took a few good marks - after limping off at the 10 min mark of the 1st quarter. Fortunately he came back on in the 2nd quarter and played out the game. He needs to toughen the phuck up.

5. Quaynor is quick with good skills. Did a couple of nice things after coming on in the 2nd half.

6. Daics was good.

The result - an easy win to the toffs - was irrelevant, as we were missing Grundy, Pendles, Sidey, Stephenson, WHE and De Goey.

So, should Buckley be sacked yet or not?

Well, he failed to win us a flag last year, which begs the question why his contracted was extended. Especially when Bomber Thomson, James Hird and Michael Voss are all available. Rolling Eyes

**** rudey, you coming over to wipe up this coffee????
OMG dont put him in THAT basket!!

Pleased to hear that Aish played well.
He has talent but I cant help but think he is a player without a permanent position on this list ( injuries aside )
Can anyone elaborate on his role was today ??

I hope he gets a decent run at it and he can make a position his own.
For mine I see him as possibly the guy who shuts down the oppositions small forward or maybe even one of those guys who will be the 25th player picked every week ( due to ongoing injuries ) because of his small man versatility.

I'm with you on this. with the list we and the inclusions in pre season I ve been thinking all this time since the granny what will happen to James? the only player I can't see retain a spot in what ever roles he plays.

I really think that he is way below par as far as Collingwood coaches go. He has been there for quite a few years and he has only been good enough to lose one GF so far.

Harvey said Moore got a knock. Harvey also said Moore wanted to stay on the park, the implication being that the medical team wanted him to go off (practice match after all).

We look forward to your continued postive support for Moore Wink

Pendles = Dippa after a lame ass attempt at growing a mustache (ala Robert Diperdomenico).
