That's just your personal opinion.

Err, does anyone honestly believe that either coaches priorities would have included winning the game.
If you do, then look out for that unicorn at the bottom of your garden

P16, I think it's clear mc was giving his opinion on the style, not the scoreboard. (Not that I think you were addressing him specifically.)

How can we be sure that's true? e.g. that Rich. weren't just really lucky for two seasons? (I don't know.)

From 13-0 to 48-72. Kind of gross.

72-35 run from Melb from half way through the first quarter.

Don’t want to sound any alarm bells re: our scoring, but our 2018 finals scores, and this one, ain’t anything to write home about vs the top teams.

True about the scoring.
We have to kick more goals full stop.
7 goals today with a few from frees.
Reid kicked 1 or 2.
I can't make up my mind whether he should go forward or back.
At this stage I qould have him back.

The forward line does rely heavily on WHE/JS/JdG.

Can someone else give a bit of analysis of what they saw.
Where is Warburton Lad when you need him?

I hope Grundy is allowed to manhandle other ruckman out of the way in the same way Gawn was today.

these scratch match are nothing more than another match sim training session. the coaches are trying different combinations for structure purpose and the players are still wondering what happened to having some time off from the season they just finished. I wouldn't even have thought that anyone could be so concerned.

Agree. Plus, who would've imagined six months ago that Jamie and Beams would be kicking goals for us against any opposition and that Darcy would be taking intercept marks. I'm encouraged by that!!

A very scratchy affair, as practice games often are.

Nothing much to get excited about, but there were a few good signs.

1. Elliott is ready to go. Our most effective forward and looks fit and fast.

2. Beams is ready to rumble. A couple of trademark across his body goals from 40 metres out.

3. Aish was among our best and hopefully he could finally be ready for a breakout year.

4. Moore took a few good marks - after limping off at the 10 min mark of the 1st quarter. Fortunately he came back on in the 2nd quarter and played out the game. He needs to toughen the phuck up.

5. Quaynor is quick with good skills. Did a couple of nice things after coming on in the 2nd half.

6. Daics was good.

The result - an easy win to the toffs - was irrelevant, as we were missing Grundy, Pendles, Sidey, Stephenson, WHE and De Goey.

So, should Buckley be sacked yet or not?

Well, he failed to win us a flag last year, which begs the question why his contracted was extended. Especially when Bomber Thomson, James Hird and Michael Voss are all available. Rolling Eyes
