Of course you could claim that all other possibly better (or worse) sets of trades would have been impossible because other clubs would have refused those but there's no reason to believe that...
Here's the point. It was not a free hit, and we paid much more for DB than one pick 18.
The point is not that the trade we did is doomed to fail or succeed. It'll be judged in premierships. |
