Bye Felicia.

Apparently Kamala Harris' campaign is hemorrhaging money and has had to shrink already, focussing entirely on early states to try and rebuild momentum. Tulsi's takedown of her seems to have been terminal.

Unlike Trump it's hard to see one of the outsiders climbing this mountain. Biden I think is dead and doesn't know it yet so it'll come down to Warren or Sanders. There have been a lot of rumblings of Hillary entering the race which would be good for a laugh at least Laughing

O'Rourke was a massive phony. I'm glad to see him go (although one can't shake the feeling that one of these losers will turn up as VP nominee under Biden).

Remember the good old days when Bernie cared about the working class?

Are you trying to suggest that he’s changed his views on that? Because he’s still making the exact same arguments about open borders, as far as I can tell:

^ My mistake. I thought he had caved on this.
It looks like he's sticking to the union line but also attempting to placate the open borders crowd. Perhaps he'll make both sides happy? Perhaps he'll make neither happy?

He just strikes me as someone who’s both compassionate and a realist – not exactly traits we should be looking down our noses at!

Harsh but fair:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/nov/03/goodbye-beto-orourke-what-a-sad-end-to-a-pointless-campaign

Quote:
Beto’s campaign suffered from the same defect as Hillary Clinton’s. Insider accounts confirmed that Clinton could never really find a clear reason why she was in the race to begin with, and didn’t have any kind of clear agenda in mind. It was mostly that she just wanted to be president, and felt like the sort of person who ought to be president. Like Pete Buttigieg, who talked about having the right “alignment of attributes” for the job—for him, an Ivy League education, military service, and small town heartland authenticity—both Clinton and O’Rourke emphasized their personal traits over their political ideas. But people want substance: they need to know what you plan to do for their lives, not just why you’re a cool person with the kind of haircut that the president might have in a movie.

Beto’s run always seemed like an ego trip. His family did not seem nearly as enthusiastic as he was about it, and his young son promised to “cry every day” if O’Rourke went through with it. He got into trouble for casually joking about putting the burden of parenting on his wife as he criss-crossed Texas campaigning for the Senate. But fame and power are alluring, and O’Rourke was one of dozens of politicians lured into the 2020 race by the promise of a national profile and a shot at the highest office. A slew of nondescript white men, including John Delaney, Michael Bennet, Tim Ryan, Seth Moulton, and John Hickenlooper, were delusional enough to think they might stand a chance. They might not have been that irrational, though: even in failing, they succeed in making themselves more well-known and possibly even more influential.

They’ll all go eventually, though. With no original ideas, no movements behind them, they have nothing to offer the electorate, and the electorate knows it. Beto O’Rourke should never have run for president, but he couldn’t stop himself, because some men are just convinced they’re born for it.

A lot of media speculation about whether Tulsi 'Clinton-killer' Gabbard will break with the Dems and run as a third party candidate.

But there's another option for her - to be Trumps running mate as Vice Presidential candidate on the Republican ticket.

Gabbard is an almost perfect fit for Trump's ticket. She would bring in those conservative Dems that don't like the impeachment agenda, and don't find Creepy Joe, AOC, or Hillary appealing. And if Trump does fall from power Garbbard provides Trump with a 'more of the same' successor, which is not what he'd get from Pence. Speaking of which Trump is brokenhearted - paid for Pence and only farted.

Standby for the premature arrival of the unexpected.

^ That would be a pretty left-field decision, and the Republican Party would hate it. Still, it's Trump, so who knows...

I think a third-party run (perhaps for the Greens) is somewhat more likely, but given that would prove Clinton at least partially right – and render Gabbard's impassioned response to her somewhat empty in hindsight – I'm not sure I can see it happening.

Didn't Tulsi just vote in support of impeachment?
I'm sure Trump will ignore that, give her a hug and then ask her to be his VP. After all, he's a pretty magnanimous guy who doesn't hold grudges.

More chance of Hillary Clinton running again!

Trump looking good in the states that count against the front runners (even with Biden who is probably already cooked).

Could be an even bigger popular vote trouncing with a similar delegate count win.

As Warren and Sanders go crazily together off the socialist cliff, Biden makes a play for Red state primary votes.
