Nah... that wouldn’t happen 🙄 |
Maybe, but do you really think the club would say this if he left early to pick up the kids from school. c'mon man!!
"I wouldn't say he hurt it (hamstring), but it was just precautionary that he didn't finish the session,"
Elliot and Moore missed so many games this year where they've said - he didnt do his hammy, he could just feel it. Well the reason he could feel it is because it turns out something is wrong there!!!!!! i suspect that's what happened here. While i bet he didnt tear his hammy, whatever he was feeling last year, likely started to return. Not necessarily end of the world stuff, but boy, it would make me uneasy if i was Elliot. |
E, my comments were more in relation to DeGoey because it’s a DeGoey hamstring thread.
I would say in truth, for any player who does leave the training track early with hamstring tightness, there’s another who leaves early for another less “ sinister “ reason.
Re Elliot, he will continue to be a concern until the day we can all look back in the knowledge that he’s had a full season of footy behind him. |

For JdG, hamstring tightness would be the less "sinister" reason for missing training. |

Elliott admitted a few years back on that Collingwood show we had on Foxtel that his back-hamstring issues are lifelong and he has to manage it week by week. That was 5+ years ago. As soon as I heard that admission, I thought to myself, “Nope, no good at all...this is not going to be a long and/or prosperous career.” I prayed I would be proven wrong, but unfortunately not the case. Unfortunately we will probably never witness his brilliance in a finals series. A damn shame, a damn waste of rare, exciting talent. _________________ Est. 2002 |

If Elliott continue,s to be unsure as a fit player and that would be disappointing all round if another season on the sidelines goes by
On the bright side it gives another player a chance to fill a spot

On the bright side it gives another player a chance to fill the spot? There is no bright side to Elliott’s injury ruined career. None whatsoever. _________________ Est. 2002 |

That’s not true. It helped to give Mayne a chance to extend his career. |

Mayne—-why just him !!!
Could be Josh Thomas or Bosenavulagi may break in
Look nothing would give me gr8 pleasure to see him in side kicking goals

We all do I suspect but we must be smart enuf to see the fragile situation he is in
Wanting him in the side is great but the not in has to be considered _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
