Any idea when the new player numbers will be released?. saw the 2019 jumper is available but still waiting to hear what number beams will be 😝

I’m thinking Stephenson gets #1
Beams could possible steal #9 off Murray? Or perhaps gets 11

Will be weird not seeing him play for Collingwood in 17

Doubt he will retain it.

Expecting to see Quaynor wear #35 next year.

You never know, it could be Kelly? Pies might have been slightly too aggressive on their draft strategy. Might end up paying a small penalty in points.

I think Stevo will take the number 1! 23 will also be popular with the kids (the lure of Lebron and Michael will be strong).

Penalty??? What are you talking about Willis?

All FS/NGA players come at a discount. Even if we end up with a points deficit we get an interest free loan for 12 months and pay them next year.

Presti is presenting the jumper to the top recruit, that means that Quaynor (assuming we get him) will wear #35. I assume that Will Kelly will be offered #23 which was Ned's number. I know that Cal Brown and Josh Daicos did not want the pressure of their Dad's number but I rather think that young Kelly will react differently.

I'm guessing Stephenson#1, Beams #11, Roughead #27 and the two Irish lads at #40 and #43.

^ Agree with most of that. I'd give Beams #9 though.

I hadn't expected that we would be able to draft three players, I suspect that means that Atu Bosenavulagi gets #40 and the Irish boys get #43 and #47.

by penalty, i meant, they might have to suffer a greater points hit than they would of if they had kept their draft picks. It seems that i was wrong on that front and that for the most part, the clubs acted sensibly and seemed to pick the player at the time they would have done so if they were actually going to pick them. So no penalty for aggressive draft philosophy and no deficit.
