Anyone else hear De Goey has done a Hammy? Not ideal but if there’s ever was a time to do one, now would be it

(Yes. We're discussing this in the "pre-season training" thread.)

Made a comment that in light of Dunne no certainty to be available at season start Roughead recruitment was wise

If the JDG hammy is for real and he cannot step up at season start the same comment applies to Beams

Soft issue injuries to be a common theme in 2019 then it seems.

If he’s actually done one, then unfortunately could become a recurring theme. Sorry but too many YOUNG players are doing soft tissue injuries, which means our training regime has issues for anyone under 23.

Not disputing the fact we have had more than our share of hammy,s it seems
an issue across the competition

It's not just us having soft tissue injuries, it's been a problem for most AFL clubs.

That said, I still reckon we should be seriously looking at our training GROUND. Fitness staff are fine, they're doing a fantastic job. There's something else, and I reckon it's beneath our feet.

We would be well advised to examine our training and sports injury management—-ideally reducing soft tissue probs to zero or at the very least less than the 17 other clubs

Tho saying that I’m like any supporter in as much as lacking knowledge of sport training but concerned as to how it impact,s on the season
