Had a lie in and got up for breakfast and it was all over.
Talking at a bar with a mate of mine last night, bloke from London now living here and owns a pie shop/bakery. I mentioned that I had been following the cricket all day and it looks like we going to win. He said who are you playing. I said the curry munchers. He said what England. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Fantastic win in trying batting conditions. It’s interesting that the Indian batting fell over and the Australians mostly didn’t, even though it’s fair to say that the Australian lineup lacks batting talent. This was won by Khawaja hanging on grimly in the second dig, even when runs seemed impossible to get. |

The tabloid is screaming with the translated quote "I will shove your anger up your a***". That doesn't seem too remarkable, does it? |

India are 2/215 at the end of day 1.
The talking point of the day has been the state of the MCG pitch. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Disgraceful pitch, yet again. People need to be held to account. |

Talk of Melb losing the Boxing Day test to Perth to come true?
I doubt it tho. Mind you the Gabba missed out on a test this year. So maybe MCG will miss out for once next year?

The MCG curator is Matt Page. How long has he had the job?
There needs to be accountability. This sort of thing is an existential threat to the game. |

You can not blame the curator for 4 dropped catches. Had Kohi been taken by Paine yesterday the Indians may have been all out for say 350 before tea today.
I think next year could be an ashes year. No way that fixture would not happen. Cricket Australia would have to sack 20 useless positions but in all likelihood sack 20 useful positions, _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Stunningly inept batting.
The sad thing is that this is not really surprising. |
