Collingwood are holding talks with a plethora of potential recruits with a twist

Lukosious and Hately being two who were in Patrick Keam (Adelaide) column

To help determine if players had integrity and potential leader qualities they

They had them role playing Bancroft -Warner-Smith and questioned “Why did you do it & how did you feel”

Also if they were Bancroft how would they respond to a senior player asking them to cheat

This procedure not unusual as clubs delve deep into players phyche

What’s even more “ bemusing “ is why they would waste their time speaking to Lukosius 😳

^ There is live trading, so we could still upgrade to a sufficiently high pick. Wink

If I were psych-testing Lukosius, I would ask him if he's insulted by comparisons with Gunston. Gunston's not bad, but hardly worthy of a top pick even in retrospect.

Apart from seeing how potential recruits think outside the square, under pressure, see ethical dilemma's presented a grandfinal could hinge on whether one could cheat or get away with cheating. No doubt developed by a bloke who wears a bow tie or a three peice suit or to be even handed a woman wearing a black suit, pearl necklace and a rich girls hair-cut.

Clubs have the certain recruits , the probable recruits and the maybe recruits

I believe personally in the “no stone unturned” method of potential sucsess

Ya can bet ya sweet bippy the recruiters have targeted players right at front of their minds

Seems pretty obvious, that a club would want to know the personality
of an opponent(especially someone considered to be the next superstar)

No one thought Grundy would go as low as he went and it was almost an OOPs Who knows. There is also intel to be gathered on other players around these blokes.

Clubs would have files on pretty much every player on file as reference for later use
A huge part of the modern game

Had my say so “Say Goodnight Baz”
