Looks good and is $4 cheaper than the Foxtel Now subscription. Might switch over when app released on Apple TV or Telstra TV. Apparently the delay is shorter than the current 35 seconds on Foxtel NOW _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Do people Tried think it's worth Getting.
As my Mum would like to get rid of Foxtel as we pay about $120 and Main Reason we have it is the Sport.
Would it be worth Changing to this Streaming Service? _________________ I am Da Man |

Looks like from comments on whirlpool it streams in 1080p (Foxtel Now streams in 720p) so that already is a benefit. I have read some comments that browser memory blows out a bit and it might cause the au snap on chrome but overall comments positive. I will switch over once the app comes to either Telstra or Apple TV. Will keep the kids pack on Foxtel Now for $10 that way I can always add Sports pack back if Kayo doesn’t work out. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Telstra has the best coverage. No other server is available in the remote places I work.
Been a customer for over 20 years and very happy with their service. |
U don't need to be a telstra customer to be using there equipment.

I'm going to have a look once the app is available for kayosports. It's due in December 2018.
The app will be available on an Apple TV (4th Gen) and/or a Telstra TV (4700TL model). You could buy either outright then pay $25 p/m and you have a truckload of sports to watch including AFL.
For $99 p/m Telstra, have an unlimited data NBN plan over 24 months that gives you a Telstra TV as part of the package and the very basic Foxtel package.
Telstra sell the Telstra TV outright for $192 but you could buy a new one online for around $120/$130 if you wish to hunt around. Take care to get the right model though as I believe the older version (4200TL) won't have access to the app you need.
A 4th Gen Apple TV will cost around $188. 3rd Gen Apple TV's won't have access to the app.
I'm waiting for Feb and the pre-season games and I'll sign up and check out the free trial 1st. If it's decent, I'll buy a Telstra TV outright somewhere and just pay the $25 p/m. Sounds like a good deal.
Being able to watch a game and keep an eye on another game/sport at the same time with split screens (2nd/3rd/4th screens are smaller and too one side if you wish) is pretty appealing to me.
Appears a much better deal then Foxtel subscription and the AFL live pass which is $89 p.a. but not available on the TV, only an App on a tablet or PC.
Kayosports for $25 p/m from March to August $150. Don't need it in September as all finals are on FTA TV. _________________ Go Pies |

Currently all my Foxtel is through streaming Foxtel Now via Ipad (Airplay to ATV) and Telstra TV app
Started my trial now that the AppleTV app is out for Kayo. I have NBN 50/20 with Telstra.
Picture most of the time appears to be 1080p although I have found that does decrease slightly when you use the Split screen and watching 4 live streams (by the way this feature is so cool, be careful doing this on the mobile app as it chews up about 13GB per hour if quality is 1080p for all 4 streams).
Telstra TV app is out today (but has no split screen feature), so I will test that out in the coming days. Picture is much clearer than Foxtel Now so for me its an upgrade and $4 cheaper a month. More importantly I don't have to f#$%ing airplay sport anymore on ATV when the Kids hog the cartoon network on Telstra TV.......happy days. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Yeah, it's a Foxtel spin off. Smart move, pardon my scam detector I'm a suspicious cnut.
I don't need it, I have foxtel at home and on the phone and tablet and as a Telstra customer I can use the AFL live streaming when I'm up bush without chewing data. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
