For those of us who have been screaming out for an AFL streaming solution to avoid the often exorbitant costs associated with a full Foxtel subscription, I see Kayo was released as a public beta overnight.

It looks almost too good to be true for sports fans. Will be interesting to see how many Foxtel subscriptions will be cancelled in favour of this. |

You can live stream from the AFL app free if you're a Telstra mobile customer, foxtel not required.

The live app also works for Telstra and Boost prepaid customers, and you can stream it with a bit of screwing around although they might fix that bug next year. |

Telstra has the best coverage. No other server is available in the remote places I work.
Been a customer for over 20 years and very happy with their service.

I'd wait til the season starts and see if they're still around.
A company that doesn't have the rights to the sports, charging to live stream them, won't last long unless they have some commercial arrangement, found a loophole or have a brilliant lawyer.
