Rather predictable. I wonder whether it's as easy to predict the crowd size. (Very small?)

And, as I write, another wicket falls. Mind you, 4/36 could be claimed to be a recovery of sorts from 3/8 --- at least, that's how CA board members would probably spin it.

And, in a blink, 6/66 (21.0 ov). Some might consider that score poetic.

This is morbidly fascinating. 8 wickets down, and the question is whether Oz will throw away all 10 wickets. "Throw away", because it seems that all wickets to fall so far were not earnt but recklessly gifted by the batsmen.

Arguably, there was only one good delivery in the lot, and that was an incorrect LBW decision, that Finch astonishingly decided not to review, so he has only himself to blame. Surely everyone knows how much bounce there is in that wicket?

...

Didn't check the crowd, but just saw the pay TV viewership: only 205,000 viewers. Shocked

Oz 1/48 (9), after consecutive 4s.
Head out lbw & recklessly burnt the review for good measure.

7/182 (40). When was the last time Oz had weaker Test & ODI batting lineups? Could the answer be "never", since ODIs are a recent invention?

Another question: what is Ben Amarfio eating now, and in what quantities?

Oh... make that 8/187 now.

I remember a ODI international against the Rest of the World in 72/73 that had to be played twice because it lasted for about an hour the first time. That may have been with Bill carrying the bat and playing for stumps at one end.
