I expect he'll poach Wells from us next year and offer him a $2 mill contract over 4 years. I expect Wells to take it.  |

| I dont hold any grudges against Gubby, he was a Collingwood man and would be still if it wasn’t for the carry on by the likes of Carolyn Wilson. He was outed for something at the giants that I suspect happened at all clubs. |

Should the club have asked North whether they had any interest in taking Wells back (with some carrots thrown in)? The club asked Freo this about Mayne last year. |

Then you are a very forgiving person. He was at risk when he left the Giants, signed Mayne and Wells to contracts which were overs and also harassed female staff at the club. But apart from that he's been a perfect angel ex his kick across goal to Greg Phillips. 
Best thing about Allan returning to Collingwood is that he was such a disaster that Ed has now been pulled in line by the board as part of the review last year.

Does that make the president the very forgiving person? Initial appointment aside, it's stunning that the president seriously thought he could just parachute Gubby back into his job once his suspension was completed, as if nothing had happened. |

Perhaps beyond forgiving and just into jobs for the boys? Anyhow, I think the stronger protocols will have prevented this, if this was the case.
