It’s inconsequential, but the bit I’m struggling with is how (on matching Will Kelly bid) we lost 64 and gained 63.
Can anyone help me?
Maybe it was a typo on the Fox Footy graphics.

Pre Season Suppliment Selection Period introduced a week ago.
From December 1 till March 15 players not picked up can be rookied
How it works I don’t know —Nathan Freeman was a player who was said it could be advantageous

Was Freeman picked up? I don't recall seeing his name.
It's really in our best interests if the SM situation is clarified asap. I don't know why there is such an extraordinarily long delay.

My understanding MM is that only one of the Irish can be cat B. This is the arrangement we have with the locals in Ireland. Wraith is eligible Cat B because he is an academy kid. But not sure when that is finalised. Its also not clear who we have elevated from rookie list.
Final list lodgement is on Tuesday which may clarify.

Which clubs have rookie vacancies to take advantage of the coming period? The problem is that, although it ends late, the ones we're possibly interested in could already have gone to other clubs starting Dec 1.
The SM situation is really inconvenient. |

AFL Rules 10.1(cb) and 15.8(c) allow an NGA player overlooked in the National Draft to be added to the Cat B Rookie List BEFORE the Rookie Draft. If we haven't done it, I think we are too late.
I think you are correct - AFL Rule 10.1(b)(ii) and 10.1(c) do seem to have the effect of limiting us to one Irish lad on the Cat B list.
I guess this will come out in the wash with list lodgement and when the club updates the website.
If one of the Irish lads is Cat A then our Primary/Cat A allocation of 44 is full by my calculations.
