This isn't a whinge just a fact. Being a Legends member gets you a reserved seat at the MCG and a guaranteed GF ticket. Great. Thanks. Transaction done.

It would be nice to receive just one other thing that I didn't throw out. The free hat is garbage (a New Era one would be actually worn), football cards or a lanyard or whatever else gets throw out straight away.

Could the club have a night for members where we can chat with current and or ex players?

The kids legend members get a Sherrin footy! I'd love a footy every year.

Appreciate the club but for the price some people pay I think the we could be doing a little better.

If you get footy cards that can only be received by buying this membership, sell them.

I sold the ones I received a few years back and it paid for a decent chunk of my membership.

Strewth prices up as well. Should have hung on to those cards instead of binning them! Ah well.

no idea, but that the day the first payment comes out the bank, so you have til then if you want to cancel. you can make changes after that date to your membership level, i did it once. they just work it out with payments.

last year and the year before pretty sure it was December, we could go in and change our seats if we wanted to what ever was vacant. there is a time period where some membership levels got first dibs if i recall correctly. The first year we moved our away seats closer to the fence, near some friends, the second year we moved our home seats closer to the fence. I know others have moved back to be under cover.

The Flexi 10 is good when you have kids. Pitty it’s only for home games.

Where did you sell them and how much did you sell them for? I have a whole heap of them in 'as new condition'. I never thought they'd be worth much.

I got a bit more than what they're asking now. Caps and Legends sets together, I got about $160 at the time. I remember seeing them go for a bit more too.

Seems like they're a bit cheaper now.

The Grand Final tickets one gets tend, in my regrettable experience, to be in appalling places that make watching the game on TV a better option, anyway. No doubt some of you will have had good tickets as Legends Members to a Grand Final but my LM experience over more than a decade was that you mostly finish up with “guaranteed” rubbish on the Big Day.

If I ever want to go to a Grand Final again, I will buy a package that includes a seat from which I will be able to see the game. It’s the Club’s loss, of course - but if they can’t look after their core financial supporters better, one must vote with one’s feet.

I'm banning myself from ever attending a Collingwood Grand Final again. I can't take the stress (ask me again in about 12 months time).

I applied and paid for the Flexi 10 on 22 Oct online. So far I only got the immediate auto-reply from the club acknowledging my application. Does anyone know when I can get the membership package?

I made the same promise to myself. But like a pregnant woman giving birth, who vows never to go through the agony again, time has slowly healed the vivid pain felt for days and weeks after, and if we make it next year or the years that follow I’ll probably be scrambling for GF stickers all over again.

It’s a sickness.
