Nope. Cannot and will not watch it. I was there at the ground and that was bad enough. Afterwards I was so devastated and shattered and numb for weeks. I remember the day of the game listening to the radio before heading to the game. Kb said something along the lines of I think the pies played their gf last week in the pf while some sh*t stain on the abc said I hope the pies lose by a kick to a dodgy decision in front of goal. After hearing that I wanted to wring the that prick's neck. While I'm proud of the team I'm still struggling to deal with what happened and only a Collingwood premiership will undo all the hurt and pain I went through last year. 2019 - year of the magpie!! |

In my mind we're still in front (turned off the TV with 5 minutes to go).
LOL.
Unfortunately haven't been able to escape glimpses of the horror that unfolded and how a free kick wasn't awarded to Maynard. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Finally summoned the courage about a month ago.
What really stood out for me was those last few minutes in the first. Two goals late in time on cost us the game.
The reality was we were just better in taking our opportunities in the first quarter.
From there, they were easily the better side and dominated the last without putting it on the board. |

did exactly the same thing! ........ having been through all the GF's since 1970, seeing we couldn't buy a score! I just couldn't watch the last 5 minutes, so I went outside with a gut feeling someone was going to get through our forward pressure and then I heard that the eagles hit the front and I just laid down in the garden........ definitely not going to watch it! Too many games coming up, starting from Friday. no need to re watch the GF and relive the pain!

No I haven't but I see the pricks have put up a clip on afl.com that shows bucks consoling his son after the loss. But be warned the !@#$% have a clip of the last few moments of the game included with westcoast celebrations. _________________ no second chances |

Its a big NO from me.
I was at the game and drank too many pints beforehand so luckily I don't remember much of the game either... _________________ "You must be a parking ticket, cuz you got fine written all over you" Glen Quagmire |

The missed hold on Mihocek in the McGovern marking contest is even worse. DeGoey should have went with McGovern, but without the hold Mihocek would have provided a better contest. |

I finally watched it on the weekend and was still screaming at the TV even knowing the final result
Really struck me how they were able to get away with holding Cox & JDG so muc
At the stoppages they just did as they pleased without being pinged
Even knowing the result a few things really hit home
Sidey probably played just about his career worse game
Not that he didn't get much of it but he didn't do anything of a positive note
Vardy and Lycett really worked Grundy over badly and when they stopped his dominance they stopped ours
Adams was sensational likley our best across the 4 quarters
Seir will be much better for the experience
Our under sized defence did very well for most part but being fair the result flattered us in the end because they missed some fairly simple goals which should have put them in front long before the hit the lead
The 2 biggest turning points in the game were still langdons 2 brain fart's but at the end of the day it took a very good kick from the boundary (when we should have got a free for Maynard being held away from the contest and Sheed playing on) that beat us
Our dominance basically stopped when Langdon couldn't find a way to knock the ball across the line from 2 inches away
5 goals up to 17 points up in the blink of a eye on 1 massive mistake
For mine we didn't lose a GF I thought we over achieved getting there and the experience will do the group great
If we had Moore Scharenberg Dunn we win the gsme simple
The prelim is a much better watch only thing that could make it better if it was commentatored by Eddie (remember press red for Ed that would have been great) |
