Yes it’s time. If not now , when?

He’s 31 and I don’t like the idea of captains in their twilight years.

He’s had his moment and Saturday was his final chance to lay claim to the captaincy and he didn’t do enough.

Realistically had two years left in him, let him enjoy it without pressures.

What’s the point of what? Responsibility without the title.

Adams is also more marketable moving forward.

I just don’t know why you’d bother having a Captain who can only come third in the Copeland. He’s obviously in hopeless decline.

He steps aside every week, usually 2 or 3 players before dishing off

Love it Frankie!

I’m not usually a vindictive person, well compared to the depth of most women in that department, but put this thread on ice, because it’s going to come back and smash a few posters! Ye of little faith, beware!

On average disposals, his 2018 was better than his 2010. On total disposals, 2018 was his 4th-best season.

But it was his career-worst season for hitouts. He must go.

Absolutely not, he probably didn't have his influential month (maybe some truth to what Alex P wrote that he was suffering). He has and is a wonderful player and leader of our club and will go close to becoming our all time games record holder.

I'd support it.
Adams looks the clear incumbent.

I think this has been Pendles best year as captain.
I'd say Tay has more energy for the role and is ready.

If SP10 is sure he can step up another notch then ok.
If not he can support Tay and focus more on his own prep.

Soooooo his best year as captain, we miss the premiership by 90 seconds, we all acknowledge he has been playing injured and then sick, butttttt you want to trade him in! Well ok then, makes perfect sense.....NOT!

Have another beer.
I didn't say how i rated his previous years.
I also said if he thinks he can be even better than fine - go again.
But if any doubt - Tay looks ready and Scotty can have more of the homelife he enjoys so much.
There is nothing to argue about.
