Stop criticizing the MCC. I rely on the MCC to assure me GF tickets when I fly in from wherever I happen to be to see a GF.
In 1990, I snuck in to the MCC by donning a record boys uniform! Ahh haven't times changed!!!
And for the record, most of the people I know in the MCC aint the toffee types you talk about (at least when the dees aren't playing that is). They are punters just like you and me......

Can't defend the indefensible - it was a shame. As many media outlets have stated, by all means give access to the members first, but if they don't turn up...

I agree, they need to change the system, it's flawed.
They should allow those MCC members with Club support first dibs & elect a date to register by. After the date expires, open it up to the rest.
Fill the seats you toffs, what the hell is wrong with you?
Mind you, my eldest got Provisional this year...

Been on the MCC waiting list since 2004.
I'm expecting to receive a provisional membership within the next 3 to 5 years.
