"I'm loving all the anti-Collingwood articles coming out today," sniggered a smart-ass at work, and he then goes around co-workers snickering and showing others and ridiculing Collingwood supporters.

Was I wrong to tell him to go f*** himself sideways? He won't look me in the eye now and goes all quiet when I walk past. And he doesn't even like AFL. I'm tired of these sniping ****heads.

Seriously, their hatred and vitriol is sociopathic and really disturbing. Gee I wish it were the 1970's, when knocking a few of their teeth out would go unpunished.

I find these posts interesting. My experiences are just the opposite.
I have a number of long time mates and we all played footy in the old days and we still live and breathe it through our AFL teams. None of them support the Pies but they are all barracking for them on the weekend.

They all respect what Collingwood has achieved under a bit of adversity and they all respect Bucks as a great personality of the game.
I also think deep down, they remain traditionalists, so they aren’t a fan of any of the expansion teams anyway.

Kids will be kids but I still reckon there’s some room for the odd neutral die hard to park their support in the Collingwood camp, particularly against an interstate team.

This guy's 30-ish, in a mature job where that kind of sh*t isn't tolerated. I know 10-year-olds more mature. They've been going all day and I finally snapped.

These days most kids have Orthodontic work done & every kid 2nd has braces, so that toothless crap is no longer valid, gone are the days where most of our supporters were working class poor folk with no money.
